All our shooting experiences, “options”, include safety supervision by a qualified Range Officer, necessary safety equipment, the loan of a rifle and ammunition.

Experiences are offered by the Target Sports Centre Ltd., and possession of firearms and ammunition by participants is through the provisions of s11(4) Firearms Act 1968 (as amended).

Please note that we require a non - refundable 50% deposit for all bookings, for which we can take card payment via telephone if convenient.

Specifics of Shooting Experiences are subject to change, and we cannot guarantee the availability of particular equipment.

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before you session starts. This allows for signing in. The experiences start on the hour, anyone later the 15 minutes past the hour will need to rearrange their session.
Introductory Rifle Experience
A session lasting up to one hour where the participant will use a bolt action rifle chambered for the .22LR rimfire cartridge. The session includes up to 50 rounds of ammunition and is structured to provide a novice with the opportunity to develop basic rifle shooting skills. The cartridge in use offers minimal felt recoil, although hearing protection is necessary (and provided).

Military Rifle Experience
A session of up to one hour offering the opportunity to shoot with semi-automatic (self-loading) rifles chambered for the .22LR rimfire cartridge. The session includes up to 150 rounds of ammunition with a rifle typically fitted with a holographic or red-dot type sight. We may be able to offer different rifle makes/types depending upon our working stock. This session uses both paper and knock-down steel targets. This session will take place on our 25m range.

Long Range Experience
In the Long Range Experience the shooter will use the Ruger Precision Rimfire rifle equipped with a telescopic sight. The rifles are chambered in the .22 Magnum cartridge which offers more than double the muzzle energy of .22LR and is shot on our indoor 100m range. It includes up to 50 rounds of ammunition in one hour and is structured to give an experience of the complexity of long range shooting and further develop your rifle shooting skills.
